About The Artist

My love for watercolors began on a trip to England years ago. My friend and I popped into a quaint little shop, bought ourselves some travel watercolor kits, and then wiled away the afternoons painting by the sea. My creations were less than wonderful (to put it kindly), but as I kept at it I discovered the joy of painting with watercolors - imagining the scenes, mixing the colors, watching the paints blend and dance across the pages!

Fast forward several years to the months after my son Asa was born when I desperately needed an outlet - something that would help me climb out of my difficult postpartum depression that had set in. Painting became that for me and brought so much joy, energy, and life back at a time that felt so dark. I thank God for His timing and provision of this outlet turned small business, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to share the joy, brightness, and love that art brings with you!
